In November 2019, the factory price of national industrial producers dropped by 1.4% year on year and 0.1% month on month; the purchase price of industrial producers fell by 2.2% year on year and 0.1% month on month. From January to November, on average, the ex factory price of industrial producers decreased by 0.3% compared with the same period last year, and the purchase price of industrial producers decreased by 0.7%.
I. year on year changes in industrial producer prices
Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production decreased by 2.5% year-on-year, 0.1 percentage point lower than that of last month, affecting the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 1.84 percentage points. Among them, the prices of mining industry, raw material industry and processing industry decreased by 1.4%, 5.0% and 1.6% respectively. The price of living materials rose by 1.6% year on year, 0.2 percentage points higher than that of last month, which affected the overall level of factory prices of industrial producers by about 0.40 percentage points. Among them, the price of food rose by 5.4%, the price of clothing rose by 0.3%, the price of general daily necessities rose by 0.1%, and the price of durable consumer goods fell by 2.1%.
Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the price of agricultural and sideline products increased by 7.2%, the price of building materials and non-metallic materials increased by 2.9%; the price of chemical raw materials decreased by 8.4%, the price of fuel and power decreased by 5.8%, the price of non-ferrous materials and wires decreased by 2.3%, and the price of ferrous materials decreased by 0.5%.
II. Changes in industrial producer prices on a month on month basis
Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production fell by 0.2% month on month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 0.15%. Among them, the prices of mining industry, raw material industry and processing industry decreased by 0.8%, 0.4% and 0.1% respectively. The price of living materials rose 0.3% on a month on month basis, the same increase as last month, affecting the overall level of factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.08 percentage points. Among them, the price of food rose by 1.1%, the price of clothing was the same, the price of general daily necessities decreased by 0.3%, and the price of durable consumer goods decreased by 0.2%.
Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the prices of building materials and non-metallic products increased by 1.3%, the prices of agricultural and sideline products increased by 0.9%; the prices of ferrous materials decreased by 0.9%, the prices of fuel and power products decreased by 0.4%, and the prices of non-ferrous materials and wires decreased by 0.2%.
The factory price of industrial products continues to decline, the price of consumer goods continues to rise, and the price of hot melt adhesive and hot melt adhesive film industry is close to the factory price index of industrial products.
